CAMERATA TIBIA was formed with the objective of exploring the solo and chamber music
repertoire of approximately 500 years (1300 to late 1700), music written for
recorder(s), other instruments and voice.
Using period instruments and historically informed performance principles, the group's main aspiration is to
advocate and promote the recorder and its music, furthermore to instigate the re-discovery of the
exquisite and intimate charm and magnificence of chamber music.
